LCi-RTS105 for a 2.1?

Here's my scenario. I am building a 20' x 20' family room. In one corner, I will have a gas fireplace where the corner wall will be about 7' wide. Above that, we'll have a big flat screen.
I personally cannot stand listening to 5.1 surround all the time. I actually prefer regular stereo. Plus I listen to a lot of music. Therefore, for now, I am willing to put conduit in my walls to finish off a 5.1 surround system someday, but for now I am willing to spend my equipment budget on a top notch pair of left and right speakers, plus a sub. I'll have everything in place for a center and surrounds if I want to go there, but for now want to invest in the L/R/sub only.
I'd love to hear some feedback on the LCi-RTS105 for my left and right. I am trying to hunt them down somewhere in MA (installed in a wall of course) to give them a drive. No luck so far.
I'll take anyone's 2 cents on these or other Polk in walls. I would also consider the LC265i in walls, but when you add in 2 performance enclosures, you are approaching the cost of a pair of LCi-RTS105 anyway.
Thanks in advance!
