Subwoofer.....

Ok, so I have scored a cs400, rt55's and rt35's. I am looking to outfit a small HT room. I was looking for a Mirage Omni S8and found one at Vann's for $208 shipped. I bought that one but have given to a friend for a set up with an Onkyo AVR that I bought here and a SurroundBar50 that he got online as well as a Harmony 880 remote.

Anyways, does anyone have an 8" or 10" subwoofer lying around that they are willing to part with. I am partial to Mirage, DefTech, Velodyne, etc. Want to stay away from the lower end polk models. I am in Maryland and would be willing to travel a bit to pick it up within reason. Any suggestions are appreciated.

    I've got a PSW-505 that's only 3 months old. When I bought it I did not anticipate picking up the 15" Velodyne that I just got this week, so I'd be willing to part with it.

    I've got a Velodyne CT-100 that I'd be willing to sell for if you're interested. I'd need to pick it up from my friends house who's been "borrowing" it for a year or so and confirm it's still in good condition. Let me know when you can, no hurry on my end.

    I don't know if you would be interested in a PSW1000, has about 20hours on it. its Mint not even a finger Print. color is ebony. also have box and papers.

    The mirage prestige s10 is on Vann's right now open box for just under 300. I have one and its great for music, also digs pretty deep for ht in a small to med room. That would be my suggestion if you want to stick with used. You can also pretty easily resale without losing much.

    Met Ed (mdaudioguy) yesterday and picked up the Polk MicroPro 2000. Its an impressive little sub! Not sure what I am going to do with it yet (keep it in HT or put in spare room).

    Nice meeting you too, Shawn! Glad that sub will work out for you. No matter what you do with it, sounds like it will be more useful to you than it was to me sitting in the box... :redface: I'm sure you'll enjoy it. :smile:

    A get-together sounds like a great idea. I'd love to meet some more of the guys in the area... I'm sure there are more than I know of.

    Congrats on the new sub. I just picked up a Polk MicroPro 2000 from Newegg and really like it. It is used in a an HT setup with LSI9s. Good clean bass in a compact design. Enjoy!

    I have a DSW micropro 2000 very little damage to the cabinet corners, remote does not work, was thinking of sending it in for repair, it's under warranty but am willing to sell for the right price.
