Being a audio guy for the past 4 years, I notice something happen every year. The Spring-Fall months I work on my car audio system fine tuning it and changing things in and out.

The middle of fall-winter I find myself not consciously looking how to improve my HT setup indoors. Anyone else find yourself doing this?

    My hobbies spread out like that. I tend to rotate around the "hobby circle" of:

    ATV--->Audio--->Guns--->Pool--->Home DIY

    Right now I'm in the ATV phase....doing due maintenance, buying accessories, etc. This fall I need to switch gears to the pool however, it need a BIG partial drain (calcium is too high) and some stain treatment.

    I have a similar rotation, but it goes more like this:

    Pay for kids college--->audio---> Pay for college---> Pay for college---> pay for college--->wife's birhtday--->>>>>

    I am definitely seeing my transition to winter to the inside setup. Car work sort of came to a halt all together.

    I hear ya, but I am just the opposite.

    Around this time I start to think about winter sports, ski trips, family vacations, and the holidays.

    Fall into winter has me running the chainsaws as much as possible.....which lends itself to evening music listening more so than summer because it's all I have the energy to do at the end of a day! For some reason my wife likes to re-arrange everything in the living room for winter so I also have to get the sound meter out when nobody is home.
    Yep, my name really is Bob.

    LOL just mark your speaker spots. I agree about having energy at the end of the day. My neighbor burns wood and I help, at the end of the day fire going and music or the game on ya goo time of year.
