I just picked up a very nice pair of CRS+ (pin/blade)...I love talking the lingo.....

I am wondering about getting an H-K 7000 with 100 watts per channel...the system is in a large room.....will this be enough power? I am now running 170watts per channel from a Denon....thanks

As long as the power is clean you may be ok. But the CRS+ are like all other SDA's and like some power. Just watch out for distortion. It would be Death to those drivers.

I would shoot for 150-200 of good clean power for them personally.

my thoughts exactly.....it is interesting that my M 10B's and CSi5 seemed perfectly matched for sound (timbre, tone whatever)...but the CRS has a bit different sound and are more efficient than the 10's and I needed to adjust the sound level for CRS to hear the center channel...

    any other ideas....?

With the SDA effect going the center is a bit hard to hear on my system as well. I don't use it for HT but tried it and liked it.

I prefer using my SDA's for music and music videos only. You should try them with a nice turntable. OMFG they are awesome.
