I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

It does seem to have a little too much self hype...

Anything that sounds too good to be true usually is.

    Among other things,
Swipe Auctions has the power to shill their own auction’s bids. In other words, behind the scenes Swipe Auctions may at the last second bid on their own auctions to extend them a little longer to keep things from selling
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

that's what I thought when I can get brand new iPad for $73, just doesn't seem plausible.

Scam and all aside; there's something unsettling to me that confiscated items from criminals can be sold at auction. I don't know why it just doesn't sit well with me.

Mine and another company were going to open a site like "Qbids" about a year ago. Did some research and found technology software for auto bidding where I could setup bogus clients and bidding perameters to simulate. Its just like a slot machine and just as addicting where you get sucked in waiting for a pay off. Not sure if and what companies are may use this but have read where people have watched the bidding closely and documented possible scams noticing patterns. If there is an item that you were shopping for anyway and you were bored it is not a bad idea cause your donations can be credited to a "buy it now" advertisement but don't get your finger addicted to compulsive purchasing cause like in gambling the house always wins.
