Those are walnut. Handle 30-350 wpc, 89.7 db efficiency, 6 ohms nominal impedance, overall response is 20Hz-26kHz, -3 db rating is 38Hz-20kHz.

I am being picky here, but those are not 2B, maybe they are 2A"s? Not that it should matter, nice speaker.

Hoosier has good eyes. They might be 2B's, but the tweeter has been replaced. That isn't a SL2000.

    amulford,

Ask the seller to pull out both tweeters and tell you what model is stamped on the back on them. They look like the new replacements for the SL2000/SL3000's, but they also look like the SL2500 which would be the wrong tweeter for the crossovers in those speakers.

    Good Luck!

    Here is the story!

I was at where I bought my Polks just ranting to the Polk rep how much I liked the SDA's and he said hold on..went to his car and gave me a pair of "SL3000TL tweeters" [that's what is on the box]
He said give them a try they are new...OK looks like I put one in and not the other, then I packed the box of tweeters away and forgot about them. I found them and one says SL3000
    and the other SL2000...humm

I don't want to mislead anyone, the speakers sound 100% great. SOOO I will include these tweeters with the $400 sale of the speakers. They have sat in the original box for a few years...I'am sure they work but if not they are free with the sale. THIS AN EXTRA PAIR OF TWEETERS, NOT WHAT IS IN THE SPEAKERS!

    ATC:

You know I think you are right. I am going to get them. I just have to arrange the particulars.

How did you set them up, and also what did you drive them with?

Since we don't have a feedback system I thought I'd post this.

From my understanding, amulford bought these from wrxmy02 and is happy. I bought the SL3000's from amulford and I'm very happy. Good deal all around.
