"Feeler" Looking for new tower speakers

Just looking to see what is out there for sale. If I see something new or interesting I will grab them.

Total amount ready to spend. 400 but lower is always good for a good deal.

Not sure if something like Polk LS90's would fit your need possibly? Used pairs usually go for around $250 to $400. Sometimes folks have found them dirt cheap in the goodwill stores etc. Let us know how the search is going!

Paradigm's monitor series is quite good for the used price, though for $450-500 you can pick up a pair of Studio 20 v3's, which are bookshelves yes but have the same sound as the floor standing Studio 60's / 100's (minus the bass, so add a sub woofer). The Studio's spank just about everything at their used price point, highly recommended.

You'll always get a lot more speaker for the money if you go used, so do keep that in mind. The disadvantages of buying used speakers are not like the disadvantages of buying other used items, I greatly prefer the value in used audio gear, especially once it has "leveled off" in value and holds it from there onward. NJ is a good area for local deals, you are close to New York and there is a lot for sale down there. Check on Craigslist first before you buy anything new

So I just ordered the monitor 60's from new egg should be here Wednesday.
