audio definition site

any ideas of a site that basically lists terms and definitions of terms relating to audio. i would love to be able to get up to snuff by reading a list of terminology and explanations of functions, uses etc. of different audio equipment and accessories. thanks.

basically a dictionary or wikipedia for audio and video.

much, much more good (if old) information at Pete Millett's site from whence that reference comes: www.tubebooks.org A phenomenal public domain resource for those of us with.... ahhh... certain somewhat arcane hifi interests.

Audiolab used to have a great glossary on their site, but it's no longer there.

copyright 1961 means no SDA (my first search), which is OK, makes it look like new technology
