I am looking to replace the speakers in my truck and am looking at the polk speakers. I have no experience installing speakers and am looking for the easiest option. When i use the vehicle fit guide here on polk.com it recommends the MM571 or the DB571. It states that these are basically drop in and do not require any brackets or anything.
My question is regarding the DXI series speakers. I work at best buy and can get accommodation pricing on these speakers only. Will I be able to use these in my truck? I can get the DXI 460/570/690's. Will any of these work with out brackets?
