TSi200 vs TSi400?
I asked about the 400s on this forum a few days ago. Those are the ones I really wanted. But on Ebay I saw a pair of refurbed 200s from the Polk Direct store and put in a low bid with 2 days left on the auction. I figured I'd never win them, but if I did, I'd be very happy to get them at that price. Well, Friday I won. If I were to upgrade to the 400s later(will be a few months before I have the $$$), will there be much difference between the two? Will it be a small or huge step up? I have a powered sub and for now only have 75w RMS X2(Harman Kardon HK3370) for the TSi's.

When I got home from work, FedEx had already came and dropped them off. The speakers sound great-I don't know if I want the 400s now-these are out of the way mounted on the wall. They are refurbs-don't know if they've got enough hours on them to be broken in yet. Here are some pics. The studs are not the standard 16" apart, but odd spacing. So the left one had to be put over the turntable. If I went one stud to the left, the bedroom door wouldn't open all the way. So I will move the enternainment center about 6" to the right and move the B&W kitty picture. They are kinda big to hang. Compare to the stereo components and the 32" TV.

These brackets are rated to hold up to 20lbs. The TSis are listed at 17lbs, and I wouldn't put any more weight than that on them-they're a little wobbly. But we don't have earthquakes here:) so it should be ok. The brackets came with drywall anchors-like that will hold 'em-yeah right. I've got 3 inch wood screws going in the studs.

You'll like them even more if you get them off the wall and put them on stands."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

Yes Mole I put screws into the back of the speakers. And Messiah will you explain why they would sound better on stands?
