Fridge Stainless Steel Cleaner/Polish?

What do you guys use?

I have this Weiman stuff and it says cleaner & polish and it seems to work about a 7 on the cleaning scale and a 4 on the polish...

Try your local restaurant supply store; they should have some good products for you that have been industry proven.

My washer went out a couple of years ago and I went to a local laundrymat.
They had stainless w/d's and the girl was cleaning them. They looked like new.
She was using dawn dishwashing liquid in a bucket of water to clean. Did great.
The REAL trick was the "Old English" Lemon Oil liquid polish.
They looked like new.
I use the Lemon polish now for all my classic silver face receivers, amps, ets. It makes them look new. Even the black components I have look new after a quick wipe down with the Old English. You have to wipe them down a couple of times to get the "Oily" excess off but the stuff does the trick.

I bought some stuff on a whim somewhere that is reasonably good (although probably no better than what you describe)... let me scurry into the kitchen and check the name on the bottle (sounds of furtive scurrying)

Ahh... it's called Hope's Perfect Stainless.

If I were serious about cleaning ss and leaving it really streak free, I would do the final clean-up (wipe down) with a soft, clean cotton cloth and 95% ethanol from a squirt bottle. This is something that I generally have around -- most folks probably don't though. It is the absolute best way to clean a nonporous surface (e.g., glass, or ss) absolutely grease and streak free.

Careful on the store sold SS cleaners most contail Naptha which is flammable and leaves a very greasy residue. I've just used a little water and dawn.

We bought an SS floor model at Sears that had finger prints all over it; otherwise perfect no scratches or dents. We brought some SS cleaner and asked the salesman if we could try to clean it before purchase to make sure of the finish. He had no problem with us doing it, but it just smeared the smudges around. He said best product he had found was WD40....sure enough it cleaned it right up....gets those horrible sticky labels off items too. Final super shine though comes with a few squirts of Windex.

I'll never own stainless steel again. Endless smudges, fingerprints, smears, etc. If you have kids forget it. I've gone back to white and no looking back. Good luck keeping your appliances clean.

i just use a little black bottle that came with my kitchenaid fridge. it says kitchenaid right on it. still takes some elbow grease, but it gets everything out. man, it's not easy keepin' ss in immaculate condition.

not sayin' it's the best stuff. but it's what i use...and it works.

Twinkle is the best SS cleaner I've found, I also use the Weimans which does a decent job and works well at reducing fingerprints, but it has an odd odor too. I think Twinkle is the best.

I agree with Disc Jockey... I use Barkeeper's on my range and pans. Makes them look like new!
