Here is the response that I got from the people at Krell RE: S 300i IA
Not exactly sure what you are asking but here is the complete answer: All the grounds in the unit are referenced to each other, which they must be for purposes of noise and safety, but the signal grounds on the preamp and amp inputs are floated slightly above the unit ground.
The speaker outputs are referenced to ground. They are not balanced; there is one "hot" terminal.
Hoping one of you guys with electronics expertise can give me a yes or no on this
