Advice needed SDA and RTA

Someone on the list suggested that I take a look at the early 80's RTA series. I also am looking at getting a pair of CRS/ (+) again.
Would appreciate advice on CRS v. CRS+
and also what model of the RTA to look at it.
I have about 7-8 pairs of the early Monitor line (having just sold my 12s and buying another pair of 5s from Mr. Stubby...a super list member).
thanks a lot...

The RTA 12s are very similar to your M10s so they would probably sound best to you. BTW, those 10s sounded maaahvelous when you demoed them last week. And they blended incredibly well with your center channel.
The RTA12 B and C series don't require stands, the original model did.
I would hold out for a pair of CRS+ over the first series. Preferably pin/blade. They have the latest XO design and can be TL'd.
And thank you for the hospitality from you and the better half. The daughter and I had fun!

I love it when you talk dirty.
I had your CRS+ and I guess the pin/blade...but don't recall what it looked like....and it compares to what in the CRS? and TL'd?
The guy with the CRS might work a trade with a HTR I have...but maybe I should pass. -
I thought the CRS+ had two tweets....see how bad my memory is....but the Polk Manual shows it with 1....

that makes more sense....as I recall Polk determined that the two tweeters weren't necessary....the guy I am dealing with says he has CRS and sent pics, but they must be CRS+ then....thanks a lot...

I would stay away from the CRS + and go with the original CRS's.

crs+, eh?
I had pair for a month, you'd think I would remember....
