Hello all,
I have been searching for a HD camcorder for some time now. I purchased the Sony HDR-HC1 a while back and used it for recording when traveling abroad. After much disappointment with video stability and night time recording, I decided to upgrade.
I have researched and tested several brands: Panasonic|Canon|Sony
The Panasonic had the 3mos, the Canon had the Cinema mode and the Sony had the backlight sensor. The Panasonic HDC HM/TS series 3mos had the best color and also had true 1080P. Long story short, I purchased the Sony HDR-XR350 HD camcorder. I will not and can not get into technical numbers or features available, as all I cared for was the end result. I travel alot and like to capture moments while in a car or at a nice place, be it the beach or bar at night. The Sony surpassed the other two brands in those categories and I would like to share a 5 minute video. There was no editing(as you will hear from the audio) or corrections and active stability mode was left off. A stroll through Dallas Tollway.
Just change the video to 1080p,
edit: I do not know why the video size is so large, change to 1080p and switch to full screen.
