first successful biscuits

after many trys, i finally made a great batch of biscuits to go with sausage gravy.
cooks illustrated.com rules
the trick is to melt a stick of butter then cool it in the frig, mix with a cup of buttermilk, then add this to
2 cups of self rising unbleached flour,
one teaspoon sugar,
475 until browned.
woohoo.
p.s. all those guys who think"real men dont bake"

I bake pretty good and from scratch. Learned growing up in the South. Next time I make some homemade biscuits I'll have to snap a pic.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

Pick up some MaryB's frozen buttermilk biscuits(available most everywhere in the CONUS).Made right here in NWFlorida.Only your grandma can tell they're frozen(she'll try to slip'em in on ya' if ya don't watch out!!).If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.
