Polk RM705 speakers

Hello - I recently purchased Polk RM705 sorround sound speakers along with a Yamaha HTR6240 AVR through Amazon.
Back home in India, the setting up of the home theatre (basic cabling, etc) is bundled along with the product purchase, so I never really bothered to find out what goes 'behind the scenes'.
However, I am right now in the US and need to set this up on my own. I have absolutely no clue of what cables need to go in where. I am handicapped and feel like a total nutcase!
My question is:
1. What subwoofer cable (whats it called) do I buy to connect the polk subwoofer to the AVR? The manual says RCA cable and I bought a pair. However thats not plugging in, inside the AVR
I can figure out the rest I believe, but this one's really picking my mind. Please advise and help!

Refer to your Yamaha HTR6240 user manual, everything is laid out clearly for you. If you look at the Polk manual for your specific package they offer you a multitude of option connections. I personnally prefer using the LFE connection from the receiver to the sub in and to connect all individual speakers to the receiver however, this is a matter of preference.
