Need some help here guys. I have a PSW110 which has long been unused and I thought of going 2.1 right now. I've been looking at the Cadence subwoofer cable from Kimber. Do I need two Cadence cables to connect the PSW110 to the Parasound 2100 preamp? The back of the PSW110 has both
L & R for Line In. The back of the model 2100 has 1 & 2 for Sub Out. I remember calling Parasound months ago and was advised that the Low Pass knob on the back of the PSW110 needs to be set all the way up to 160 and the Low Pass knob on the back of the 2100 needs to be set somewhere between 60 - 80 to start with. But I forgot to ask if I'd need two cadence subwoofer cables....Help.
Thank You.

You should be able to use a single cable for your sub. Just add a y-splitter and plug the male ends into the L & R line in. Others may disagree with me, but I've never seen the need to use expensive sub cables. For interconnects between components maybe.
You are correct about the low pass knob. The 2100 will handle the crossover. -

Thank You very much for the response.
