Finally!! Got the call the yesterday that my new preamp is here and I'll be picking that **** up today!

What did I get?

Anthem AVM20!

I'd love to take the day off and play, but it's cooling season and it's supposed to be 90deg. today so I'll have to wait untill I get home tonight to hook it up.

Time for the HAPPY DANCE!!

I would be real interested in hearing how the AVM-20 mates with the Outlaw 7100. I have been considering this amp as I don't need more than 100 wpc and plan on getting either the Anthem or Ref 50 in the near future. My concern is that the Outlaw may be outclassed by either of these pros.

By the way congrats on the Anthem.......

    Frank,
Congrats and do let us know your impressions of the combo..
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Well I got it hooked up, still need to connect the phono stage though.

    First impressions.....WOW!!

I thought my Lsi's sounded incredable when I added a separate amp to my receiver, but this is unbelievable! Even after a few basic setup items, this thing kicks ****!! I will be playing around with the bass management options as I become more familiar with the various setup options (There's a BUNCH!!)

    Simm,
The Outlaw is a great match, I'll provide more info as soon as I've got a few movies and some critical listening completed.

Actually, not quite, I'm right on the coast. Humidity is actually very high here. Heat index runs anywhere from 120-135 or so during the day.....

    SPEAKER7,
I promise to give a full review! Just got home from my son's baseball game and it's little late to "Play." My daughter has a tee-ball game on Thursday, so I'll have to wait untill Friday night/Saturday to really get after it!
