Help identifying Polk speakers
Hi,
I purchased these new in the early 90s and can't remember what the specs are. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Nelson.

Looks like the Monitor 5"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

I've had a couple of pairs in black but I haven't seen any pre '87 models with SL-2000s in them. I'm sure not the Polk expert though. -

Labels Labels Labels....They tell so much sometimes. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
Hi everyone,
Thank you for the help so far. Guess I should have checked the back of the speaker. Clearly identifies them as Monitor 5s.:o
The speakers suffered a bit of water damage and the bottom of the speaker box is separating a bit. Any suggestions on what I should do? Would you leave them alone or try to correct it somehow?
To be fair, I may end up selling the pair. Don't want you to be giving me a bunch of help only to turn around and find out I've sold them off.
Thanks,
Nelson. -
Well you can't sell them here, but good luck!"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
