Will leaving my PSW1000 always on limit the life of it?

Hi guys,
I have my PSW1000 power option switch set to always on instead of auto. Will this limit the life of the amp?

Why don't you set it to auto? and besides using electricity it doesn't need I wouldn't really see a problem with the life span
