question about commercial airplane scale models

Anybody here collect them? I've been collecting the plastic snap ons but want to start collecting die-cast models 1:400 scale.
I'm looking online and I see there are quite a few brands making them like Dragon, Aero Classics, Gemini, etc. They all look incredible real but I was wondering which one is the best and most realistic?
There is an aviation enthusiast shop close to me, near the airport. I checked out their website and the one I want is made by Dragon. I'll have to pay them a visit and see if any others are available.
Also, if anyone could link me up to any websites that sell good looking tarmac/runway sheets for display. Ground crew and their cars/trucks would be great too. I'm also looking for palm trees with no luck. My terminal will probably be DIY.
Again, I'll check the shop nearby to see what kind of sheets they have.
Any help greatly appreciated

I collect 1/72 Corgi (love those B-17's).

I'm assuming you looked at 3000toys for 1/400?

Airfields are cool but I've been out of the hobby for awhile and can't seem to find my links to tarmacs and runways. I'll reply back if I can find them.
Good luck! -
omg! 1/72 is huge. I consider 1/200 very big. That's awesome. Thanks for the links. Gonna order a bunch of civilians/workers too.
I see that they sell some very nice looking tarmac pieces to display single planes. I'm still thinking if I want to go that route or get the whole airport.
I just found another kick **** site www.aviationsupermart.com Too bad these stores don't carry the airline I want. But they do have all the other things I need. Gotta get my planes from ebay.
Thanks again.
