I have been trying to sell some pretty good little sony speakers i bought with polks and onkyo as part of my first home theater system, along with some decent little polk bookshelves(cant remember the model nos. of either, they are in bedroom).no takers even at 20 bucks for all four in new cond.

I also have a klh sub a guy threw in for free when i bought some kefs off craigslist awhile back.not perfect, still has stickers from sellers little girl,no grill,needs alittle silicone, but sounds remarkably good.

I have a single sattelite speaker that was a throw in with gear i bought the other day, couldnt think of what to do with that.but it is a remarkable little speaker from a now defunct company i never heard of before, "apl technologys"

I have my first ht receiver, a sony midlevel, until a week ago it was in living room.wouldnt bring much money, but sounds good, has sub line out, coax hookup, all you need to start a little home theater.

But i wont own any of these things tomorrow.

I will be giving them away.

Today, suddenly, it hit me.

theres a vfw branch here in my home county, there are young and not so young men and women coming home on a regular basis that will be trying to regain their foothold in life after dealing with war.

I bet theres at least one who would love to have even this dinky little assembly of components.

if not them, then i could post on cl atlanta. even though im 1.5 hour north of atl. i just want to verify they served in combat or support. in a perfect world, it would maybe be someone with a little young family who can just go to a store and daydream, maybe some day.

the system is nuttin special, but beats nothing at all.
