How do the RTI A7s compare to the TSI500s?

My girlfriend calls you guys my support group and insists I have a 'problem.' Unfortunately, I keep proving her right as the upgrade bug (or as I like to refer to it: 'the upgrade slug' a la Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan) refuses to leave. Fortunately, she's quite supportive of my habit and approvingly nods her head an gives me a sly grin when I insist it's a good thing to move through gear and speakers to expand my knowledge and experience. :D

I'm looking to move my 500s to surround duty and upgrade my fronts. I've done some perusing and read some reviews on the RTIs, but I'm not fully satisfied with what I've been able to research. Additionally, since I have no way to listen to the A7s (or A9s for that matter) in person, I have to rely the forums experience to help me out.

What about my gear? Should the Adcom push the A7s/A9s without a problem? And does anyone know how well Adcom pairs with the RTIs?

The reading I've been doing seems to suggest the RTIs are fantastic for home theatre, but tend to lean more forward and on the bright side for music. I'm not picky in the slightest when it comes to HT use, I'm 80% music and 20% HT. That being said, I've owned the 500s for about a year now and I've come to the conclusion that they also have a fairly bright and forward sound to them (I leave the grill on to compensate, but only hear a marginal improvement). I don't have a ton of experience on different speakers yet, but I find these are too bright for me (anyone listen to the White Stripes with these? Yikes, turn it down turn it down!).

So with all that being said, what can you guys tell me? Are the RTIs going to be even brighter than the 500s? Is there a big difference between the A7s and the A9s? I read the extra drivers in the A9s help round out the speaker, but from my understanding brightness is more dependent on the tweeter (which are the same?) and the crossovers (are they the same from the A7 and A9?

BTW, I'm not concerned about matching them to the current room my gear is in, since it is by no means permanent.

Thanks guys.

PS. I just got done stumbled upon the RTi12s....
