Started off last week when my gf and I went on a double date with her brother and his date. We went ice sakting and she broke her ankle, so bad that in fact she had to have surgery and get a metal plate and bolt put in.

Than the same night one of my girlfriends, friends friend died in a car crash.

Than the other day her mom had to have surgery.

Today She said she is going to see the doctor about something she found on her body.

And tonight my sisters bf went to the er.

So I am sitting at the er right now.

What are you all up to?

Thanks, I think I will be ok "knock on wood" the bf I could care less for, does not respect my sister and hits on other women and drinks heavily. She does not even want me to come back and see him.

What's so strange about it? Those are things that happen all the time.

Sounds like a string of bad luck. Sit tight it will subside!

And to the person above, I agree that those things happen all the time, but I think the point is that it is happening all at once! :)

Who broke an ankle - your gf or her brother's date?
Than the same night one of my girlfriends, friends friend died in a car crash.
Not commenting on this due to the sensitivity. I'm sorry for the loss.
Than the other day her mom had to have surgery.
    It's then, not than.
Today She said she is going to see the doctor about something she found on her body.
Who said who's going to the doctor about something who found on whose body? There are too many women possibly referenced in this sentence.
And tonight my sisters bf went to the er.
    Boyfriend? Best friend?

I'm sorry, but writing is important - not trying to poke fun at or belittle your situation at all, but just trying to point out how unclear it really is. Every person who replied to this thread might have interpreted it in a different way. Not that it matters, though, it still seems like a lousy week any way you put it.

I hope things get better for you, but you've got to put things in perspective. A slow leak? Find it and plug it.

Nothing but bad luck, but really bro...you post alot of personal **** on here lol

Hope things get better, but hey...that's life.

Did I tell you I got my tire slashed yesterday? It was the front driver side (and both front tires have less than 2k miles on them )

Least my Taylor ignition wires+ngk spark plugs and Pioneer BDP-51FD player came in today. Just try to look at the brightside of things!

That sucks. It would drive me crazy to have two tires with different mileage on them, even tough it's only slightly different. Last year, I clipped a low-cut stump on the side of a winding back road. The sidewalls of both passenger-side tires were pinched and split open. Yeah, a spare tire didn't do me much good...:o

Yeah, the sidewall was slashed pretty deep. I immediately put on the spare (tiny damn thing) but earlier today I replaced it with a used one. Not what I wanted to do but can't get a new tire just yet.

Least I saw the gash before I took off on the open freeway, a blowout would've been much worse

Well it's pretty clear the poor SOB has had a bad week and a half or so. What exactly happened is open for interpretation.

BAF (that's BigAudioFanatic), I hope things turn out for you and everyone is OK. Other than the poor person who passed on, my condolences.
