Anybody know what is the recommendation and availability for tweeters for the original SDA-SRS's?

The RDO-194 is the replacement for the SL-2000. Call Polk to order them.

Are those the silk dome tweeters?

I had replaced 6 of the 8 of my SL2000's with the silk dome, but today discovered that two of the silks were shot.

Fortunately, I had saved the 2000's, so I had replacements.

    Thanks for the reply.

I'm still amazed these things sound as good as they do! 26 yrs old!

WHat did you replace the 6 of the 8 with.

Don't mix and match. Stick with the RDO-194's. You will be in for a treat. Call polk and tell them you are a club member to the a discount.

I am fairly sure they were the 194's, but don't remember exactly, and there is no number printed on them.

I did what I could afford at the time. Only recently did I discover two of them (one per speaker) were blown out, so I used the sl2000's, and now have 2 of the silks and 2 of the sl2000's per speaker.

Sound is bright and tight. As it goes now, I still have 2 sl2000's I could use if I needed to but am thinking about getting the 194's
