    Wow, I never thought that there was this much anger towards BB. Who would have thought that this thread would get to be 3 pages long.

    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    I haven't rented a movie in 8+ months. Nothing Holyweird has made looks the least bit interesting.

    I miss all the independant video stores that used to be around in the 1980's (mostly). In the town I lived in, video stores like Video Time, Video Stop, etc. etc. Those are the places I miss. Can't say I will miss Blockbuster as much as those places though.

    I had Netflix before BB had their mail service. As soon as BB came out with their mail service I cancelled Netflix & went with them. This was strictly for the convenience factor of being able to drop off a movie in the store & walk out with another one. Also they give me a free rental once a month. The in-store exchange comes in handy over a weekend when mail service won't do you much good. If it wasn't for the in-store exchange I'd still be with Netflix. For me the pricing was about the same. Yeah I'll miss them if they ever close.

    I remember when we got our first VCR in 1983. We had no video rental stores in the area, so we had to go to the neighboring towns Public Library and reserve a movie and give them a quarter for postage. They would send us a letter telling us the movie was in and we could keep it for two weeks. Wow, things have changed.

    i went to block buster last night. Evidently if you get a new release during the week, you get a non new release.

    So I walked out with 4 movies and a coupon for another non new release for $9.

    Yesterday I noticed the first Block Buster automated check in/out stand outside my local market. It is very similar to the Red box stand. I wonder if it will be the same price or lower.
