New TV stand - Center Channel placement?

I'm looking for a new TV stand at the moment as I have to have my CS2 on the floor and it sounds like utter crap down there.
I've got a Pioneer 50" KRP-500m flat panel Plasma.

The biggest problem that I have is I will probably be ordering the stand online, so I won't be able to see it in person.
I'm currently looking at something like this, http://www.audio-video-furniture.com/Wood-Technology-Avista-Sonitus-55-Flat-Panel-TV-Swivel-and-Tilt-Mount-with-Open-Frame-Tempered-Glass-Shelves-SONITUS.htm
I don't have any experience with how these TV-mount based stands work. I've always just used an attached stand on my TV to have them sit flat on the TV stand. Can you adjust how high you mount the TV?
My idea is to have the TV mounted just high enough to allow my CS2 to **** on that very top shelf to be right under the TV without blocking the view.
I'm just afriad I'll get it home and that speaker will still be blocking my TV.
Here at the dimensions of my Plasma:
Panel (W x H x D): 48-17/32 x 28-15/32 x 2-17/32
Panel Weight: 69.2
Here are the dimensions of the stand:
TV Stands Overall Dimensions: 44W X 20D X 52H
Usable Space
Top glass shelf: 24 W x 17 D
Middle shelf: 24 W x 17 D x 8 H
Lower shelf: 44 W x 17 D x 9 ½ H
CS2 Center Channel Speaker dimensions:
CS2 7-3/4" H x 21-1/4" W x 11-1/8" D
Can anyone with experience with these type of mounts help me out on whether or not I can achieve my goal of having the CS2 on the top shelf without blocking the view of my TV.

With the CS2 being 7 3/4 high, You can adjusted the TV on the mount enough to comfortably clear the CC on the top rack im sure.Polk Audio Surround Bar 360

I was seeing the different mounting holes and I was hoping that would be how it works.
I may just go ahead and pull the trigger on this stand. -
You'll be fine, the brackets that bolt to the TV are adjustable, and your CS2 should easily fit under it. I have a similar stand and a CSiA6, which is a massive speaker and I have no problems. The top shelf is the best place for your center, as it's usually right at ear level. For anyone who is wondering how to fit a CS2 under their TV, I suggest building a riser.
I have attached a few pictures of mine. I built this a few weeks ago in just one night.
You'll need:
-- 1 x MDF Board (30x15)
-- 2 x MDF Board (8x15)
-- 4 x L-brackets
-- Wood screws/Screwdriver
-- Wood glue
-- 1 x Shepherd 3/8 In. Surface Gard Round Clear Self Adhesive Vinyl Pads, 16-Pack (I used 4 per leg)
-- Drill/Drill bits for starter holes
-- 1 can each of Primer & Paint/Stain
-- Fine and Ultra Fine sandpaper
-- A few hours of your time
Total cost for parts -- all from Home Depot -- was under $35.
The riser easily holds my 53 pound plasma -- I stood and hopped on it with my own 165 lbs! -- and my guests always think it came as a part of the base stand. Home Depot will do the cuts for you if you don't have access to a table saw, and they even sell the rounded MDF in 15"-wide pieces!
Anything worth doing is worth doing right. -
That is a sweet stand - glad you took my advice from a previous thread. You should not have any problems with your center channel speaker - use the little rubber feet that it ships with to keep it from sliding about. Post a pic after you get everything set up.polk monitor 70's
