No, I wanted to, but haven't found any to demo. I have noted many for sale lately, something about a bridge that PS promised to build, but seem to have changed their minds.

I haven't heard the PW combo, but supposedly the W4S DAC-2 and PW sound very similar.

Which model Ayon? I've recently heard a CD-2, CD-5, and W4S DAC-1 and DAC-2 in the same rig. All sounded good, but each had a different presentation.

I heard the ayon on my sound labs at the dealer it was decent I guess it was a bit forward than some I have heard. Since it was an sacd player we moved quicly to his vinyl rig so I did not listen more than 30 minutes or so.

The CD-2 is a little forward, the CD-5 is warm with more low end.

I decided to pull the trigger on the Ayre CX-7eMP. I'm not all that interested in SACD at this point and I read where the 7 had the edge over the 5 when it comes to CD's which is the majority of what I would play. Wish me luck!

I considered that but decided I didn't care. So long as it does regular CD's well I'll be happy for now. ;)

I got the Ayre yesterday and played it all day. Its the best sounding CD I've heard to date but its not my turntable, thats all I can say...

I guess a tick and a pop now and then is worth it.
