hahah.
I've probably done even worse, they are plugged into the wall.... at a crappy 1980's apartment in knoxville. :eek:perfect cat

No, that definitely isn't worse - it's better.
Though, with that kind of dirty AC coming into your gear through a whole network of wiring in the building, you might want to take a look at some conditioners, or something - in the future?
You know the saying...garbage in, garbage out!
Sidenote: I have always liked how pretty monitor's were. Very attractive speaker!..... ><////(*> -
I will definitely look into it. I'm kinda poor at the moment though... hah.
Yeah, I thought they looked pretty good as well. I think they sound alright too. -
I live in a single family, and my system will actually sound better at night (when less things are running through my house and probably the neighbors)....I would bet you might experience a similar experience?
Some day I plan to run dedicated lines (which would cut out most of the need for conditioners when done right), unfortunately you don't have that option currently, so that's why I recommended it.

I dunno. I will have to wait and see. I do not know if I am a discerning enough listener to notice the difference. My LSi's kinda sounded terrible in this apartment, so I could never really tell. At the moment, I have a poor cable leading to my iphone, which undoubtedly has a poor dac.
Maybe I should look into a conditioner, I believe audiogon has some adcom ones that go for around $50... I could probably swing that. -
kitteh!

Thanks. I took them real quick. They also have terrible exposure. I was excited to get them set up.
edit: fixed. -
I also have neck problems and your photos worked on me too.
Other than that, nice system you have going there. It should sound fantastic.:cool:Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.
