Would you consider a CSi40? I have one that's currently unused, in excellent condition.
Thought I'd ask, just in case...if not, good luck w/ your search!Main HT:JVC DLA-RS45135" Elite Screens fixed frame, 1.1 gainMarantz SR7007 (operating as pre-pro)Emotiva XPA-1 x3 (L+C+R), UPA-7 (surrounds)Oppo BDP-103D/BDP-83Toshiba HD-XA2Panamax M5410 Pro x3Polk LSiM707s, LSiC706, 80 F/X-LS, 65-RTSeaton Sound/MCCA MFW "Turbo" + custom Dayton SA1000 sub amp (orig. yes i will. how did this sound with your RTi's?
PM me a pic and price please?mole' -
Pics will be sent/uploaded (Picasa) tonight, when I'm home.
I thought the CSi40 played extremely well with the previous RTi70's L+R fronts. I think the performance with the new RTi A7's is just as good, though the A7's still need some more break-in time to fully integrate with the '40...
In general, I think the CSi40 is a great speaker, one that you would have to spend considerably more to outperform...that's why we own two!Main HT:JVC DLA-RS45135" Elite Screens fixed frame, 1.1 gainMarantz SR7007 (operating as pre-pro)Emotiva XPA-1 x3 (L+C+R), UPA-7 (surrounds)Oppo BDP-103D/BDP-83Toshiba HD-XA2Panamax M5410 Pro x3Polk LSiM707s, LSiC706, 80 F/X-LS, 65-RTSeaton Sound/MCCA MFW "Turbo" + custom Dayton SA1000 sub amp (orig. Sorry for the delay, life got busy the last few days. As promised, I've uploaded pix to my Picasa account here. Below is one of the pix:
Details:
I am the second owner, bought about a year ago. I've only hooked it up once to verify operation (worked just fine), then put in the closet wrapped in a towel. I used some furniture polish on it today (applied to towel first) to polish it up before taking the pix. One of the pix shows that I'm a better music lover than house cleaner...
Overall the cabinet is in very good condition, but will rate it 8/10 on the Audiogon scale due to a few surface scratches that do not penetrate the veneer. More like indentations, if that makes sense. You need to be within a few feet to see them if you know where to look.
The grille is in 9/10 condition - no broken pegs, no fabric pulls, no broken ribs. Essentially some dust is the only imperfection on it. Factory brass jumpers are included. Original shipping box was not included when I purchased it, but I still have the large shipping box sent to me with the custom-type expanded foam inserts, so shipping should be safely done.
I prefer to ship FedEx Ground w/ full insurance and signature required...
How about $175 + shipping, and split any Paypal fee? I am also open to offers, so feel free to PM me...Main HT:JVC DLA-RS45135" Elite Screens fixed frame, 1.1 gainMarantz SR7007 (operating as pre-pro)Emotiva XPA-1 x3 (L+C+R), UPA-7 (surrounds)Oppo BDP-103D/BDP-83Toshiba HD-XA2Panamax M5410 Pro x3Polk LSiM707s, LSiC706, 80 F/X-LS, 65-RTSeaton Sound/MCCA MFW "Turbo" + custom Dayton SA1000 sub amp (orig. that is a CSi4 ?
If you're not interested, just let me know...so I can explore other options to sell. But I'll give you a few days to decide one way or the other - does that sound reasonable?Main HT:JVC DLA-RS45135" Elite Screens fixed frame, 1.1 gainMarantz SR7007 (operating as pre-pro)Emotiva XPA-1 x3 (L+C+R), UPA-7 (surrounds)Oppo BDP-103D/BDP-83Toshiba HD-XA2Panamax M5410 Pro x3Polk LSiM707s, LSiC706, 80 F/X-LS, 65-RTSeaton Sound/MCCA MFW "Turbo" + custom Dayton SA1000 sub amp (orig. I have a perfect condition CSi5 that I'll part with. Only stipulation, you'll have to purchase the enitire HT setup:
Rti12s - Black
CSi5 - Black
FXi3s - Black
The RTis and the CSi are about 4 months old and are in perfect condition. The FXis are used, but there is not a scratch, dent, or ding to be found. If interested I'd do the whole system for $1550 plus shipping from 51566. If you need a sub, I can throw in the PSW505 for $100. Think it over. I'll eat the PayPal fee. -
