Need center speaker for RT-10's
Hello everyone,
I have a pair of RT-10's (not Rti-10s) and am looking to get a center speaker to match. As an aside, one of the woofers had a slice in it but I finally found an MW8002 driver after searching for 2 months and am waiting for it to arrive.
Way back when, when I was young and stupid, I ended up pairing my Rt-10s with a Klipsch center speaker. I can't quite remember why, but that's how it's been. Lately I've been wanting to match my speakers to a Polk center speaker but I'm not sure which ones are voice/timbre matched to the RT-10's.
Someone recommended to me that I look for a CS400. Unfortunately, the CS-400's are a bit too large to fit in my cabinet. Was there also a CS100/200/300? I see a lot of CS1/2/10/20's on ebay but I'm not sure how those match the RT10's.
My budget is kinda small - less than $200. I'm open to any vintage speaker, recent or classic, as long as it's a good voice match to the RT-10s. If it helps, these are all being driven by a Yamaha RXV-1000 receiver.
Any suggestions? I appreciate any help!
