I have 2 tower home theater speakers. They each have a subwoofer and tweeter. There are inputs for both on each tower. How can I hook these up to a receiver that only has 2 channels?

The receiver is by Insignia. I'm not sure of the brand of speakers(garaage sale). Right now I just have the top portion of the speakers hooked up. They sound pretty good. I was wondering how to hook up the subwoofers that are in the tower. The back of the speakers have 2+ and 2- hookups. My receiver has only 2 channels though. Thanks

There should be jumper plates connecting the top and bottom binding posts. You can connect your speaker wires to either the top or the bottom posts, no difference in performance. If the jumper plates are missing, use some short pieces of speaker wire as the jumpers.Political Correctness'.........defined
