Built my own table lamp (sort of)

I ordered a small chandelier off ebay to combine with a table lamp base I had laying around, so today I did it.
I took apart the chandelier and reversed all the fittings so it would sit upright on a base rather then how they typically hang from the ceiling. I bought a coupler to join the base to the chandelier, rewired it, painted it and then put a plug on the end of the cord. The end result...
The one thing I forgot to add, a on/off switch. I'll do that tomorrow. But, it puts out really nice light with 3-40 watt bulbs vr the 1-75watt lamp, with a shade.
Best of all, it fits the theme of the room.
