Let me explain the system that i have first.
AVR Denon1910, speakers tsi 200 front, Polk Audio CS10 as central. With a subwoofer Polk Audio DSW Pro 400

I set crossover of fronts in 40 and central in 60. I quite not confortable with my system when we are talking about audio. Except that i listen to dts.
My idea is to "test" a pair or rti a1, that i beleive there are more bright as rears for a time, and then if i like them i replace my tsi200 with a rti a3.

Is it wrong to put another line of speakers as rears?????? Thanks for the advice.

The rear speakers do not really need to match at all. The only ting to consider is that it will be hard to test the A1's as rears since there is not really that much sound that is sent to these speakers.

Also i would change the crossover points for the TSI200's. I would recommend 80 across the board as a starting point. I would be surprised if the 200's had good output down to 40hz.
    Front - RTiA5's
    Rear - RTiA3's
    Center - CSiA4
    Sub - PSW110

+1 for the above. I have TSi100 as surrounds and TSi300 as fronts, and have them set at 80Hz.

It is not 'wrong' to have different surrounds as your fronts - preferred sure, but the HT gods will not descend upon you in wrath and curse you.

If you are not satisified w/ your current set up then - well, you gotta do what you gotta do - you've been bitten by the upgrade bug like many here! :p

If you want to 'test' the RTiA1s, then you really should set them up as your fronts and do your own deathmatch shoot out between the tsi200s and the ritA1s!

If you think the tsi200s are better, then I'm sure you could put the rtiA1s up for sale here in the Polk Flea Market and recoup most/all of your costs - and you are wiser in having tried them yourself.

If you like the RTiA1s (which I think you will), then you could take the next step and get the RTiA3s (great bang for the buck if you can pick up a pair from Polk Direct or a fellow Polkie in the Flea Market).

It's all about the journey and trying stuff out. It sho is satisfying to get a good deal, get set up, and then get that big grin of sonic satisfaction ear to ear.

H9: If you don't trust what you are hearing, then maybe you need to be less invested in a hobby which all the pleasure comes from listening to music.

Another idea you could try. Have you thought about towers. If you have the space for them, you could get a paid of monitor 60/70 for the same price as the A1's. If not a little less. Then you could move the 200's to the rear. Just an idea.

    Rear - RTiA3's

What an inmeadiatly response, i didnt spect an answer so soon, so i have to thanks all the people that took a moment of their own personal time to share their knoledge with me.

About the crossover, i noticed that when a put it at 80hz my fronts sound with more bass, is that possible. I am a little confuse with that i might say.

During the week i will go to the only store on my city (rosario, ARgentina) where i can find polk and i would like to try the rtia1 to compare them with my tsi´s and eventually sell the tsi in the future, not now and by also a pair of a3´s.

    .

Well the thing is that now your loudspeakers are reproducing only a convenient range of frequencies, and not wasting power into trying to reproduce lower frequencies that they can´t, because of physical restraints. In this way the lower frequencies are reproduced only by the sub, and you get a better blend between the sub and the fronts.

and by the way, I know how difficult it can be to get and test equipment, since I live in Mexico, plus things here are much more expensive, i.e. electronics.
