    Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

    ^ I've been thinking the same thing. With the type of attention he most likely got right away he was probably smart enough to realize he needed to do some research. That or someone got a hell of a deal and can easily put a grand in their pocket.

    I think that one of two things occurred here either the fellow that was attempting to sell these was setting up someone for a robbery for $200.00 cash knowing full well that greed would outweigh common sense in a case like this in a hurry to get them or that you were punked.

    The reason for this line of thinking was his description and the link to CP If he was savvy enough to go online and look up SDA SRS he would be savvy enough to look up value.

    I think personally it was placed as a prank on you poor folks then the ad was yanked after he got his laughs watching this thread. perhaps by the fellow that had the earlier ones bought out from under him :p

    I don't think the link was to club polk it was to a tiny picture of a 1.2tl that comes up on a google search. Either way with no responses to anybody here who really knows.

    Well if they were the original SRS's I would have flipped them $500-$700 made a few bucks, if they were 1.2/1.2tl's for $200 I would have kept them for spare parts as the passives are hard to come by. kept a few drivers sold a few and get my $200 back and be out nothing but a small road trip.. But then you have this extra cabinet and it would be very hard to see it go to the dump..

    ^ I would hate to deal with that situation... maybe you could have made some frankenspeakers out of them with a bunch of car speakers and such. But, who knows maybe in a week or so we will see them re-list at a real price.
