ring install not going too smooth

ok..i'm no bob villa:p..i'm only posting about lefty so far...on my outside mw, the center brace is a smidge too close, so the ring doesn't fit..:mad: also, the ring for the pr doesn't go in the hole, duh...should i get a hacksaw and cut it in half..same w the mw? just cut a little off the edge? criminy! it was going smoothly!

If you look at the PR ring, you will see two small cuts on opposite sides. You gently bend the PR ring at those two points until it slips inside the hole. You then bent it back flat before inserting the threaded pins into the 9/32" holes you drilled with the template.
As for the MW ring, you'll have to either trim the brace or the ring, your choice.Political Correctness'.........defined

Mike I had one side that both the MWs rings had to be trimmed. The brace was actually past the hole about 1/16. No biggie though.Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)
