Hey guys, I may have around $200 extra coming in a week or two from a little weekend job. I've been getting the feeling lately that my RT55i's would really sing with a bit more juice and have been considering adding an external amp to them.

I'm looking at some from AMC and AudioSource right now (the AMC 2100 is in the lead so far). Anyone have any experience with this combo? (AMC + RT55i)? I figure I'll hang on to the amp if I like it, then add the 5 channel version later on and use the extra two channels for bi-amping or for 7.1 if I add a newer Pre-Pro.

Anyways, just pondering. I've found the AMC 2100 for around $230 with shipping. Later.

Glad to hear that ATC. One final question about the AMC (mainly the 2100) is if I somehow finally got some LSi's or used the AMC in a different room, do you think it could handle a good 4ohm load, or is it only reliable at 8ohm? Well, gotta run. Thanks.
