a great loss this past Monday

I found out this evening, the world lost Jim Dellasandro.
Jim was the best baker and cook I have ever met and one of my greatest friends.
He is Godfather to my son.
Jim taught me many of life's lessons, how to bake and cook, and I always thought the world of Jim, Mary and the kids.
Jim will be extremely missed by all, and how close he and Mary were, they were the definition of soul mates.
My heart is extremely heavy and saddened.
I would have given my life to save his if I could have.
Please say a prayer or two for Jim's family for us.
I wished I had found out sooner, so I could have gone up to pay my respects sooner.
I don't have all the details as yet, but knew he fell ill, but not until tonight.
I looked, but hadn't found details, but found some photos.
I hadn't seen Jim or spoke with the family since I moved away in 97, but had always wanted to spend some time, but hadn't with work and time slipping us by.
I know Jim can see now, and I believe I would have made him proud, the journey I have traveled, and my destination thus far, and his contributions to me through my rougher patches in my younger years. Jim is the reason I have some of our recipes left over, the reason I have a 6 quart Kitchen-aid mixer in my home that I use from time to time, and the guy who introduced me to new / old music, screaming out of those tiny but awesome Polk Audio speakers. I also have Polk Audio now in two rooms and outside, 10 Polk's in all.
I have missed the Dellasandro's since moving away, and my wife seems to have known them as I have often spoke fondly of my distant friends.
God bless.

Very sorry for your loss, prayers sent to Jims family................

My condolances.
REGARDS SNOWWell, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all -
RIP Jim D.
