Horslips - The Tain

So here's the story with this album. I received it as part of a Christmas Karma from george daniel (I think), and never played it. It's sat with my vinyl collection... pretty much forgotten about.
The other day, I had a date come back to the house to listen to some music, and she was flipping through my collection and came across Horslips. She only even pulled it out because of the band name. So, I decided to go ahead and throw it on while we were talking. And boy, am I glad I did.
I've come to find out that Horslips pretty much started the genre of Celtic Rock, mixing traditional instruments and styles with hard rock. I've been a fan of Flogging Molly for a while, so it kind of works for me.
Anyone who likes this style of music should go out and find this album. If you need help... shoot me a PM.

Yep... just got around to it. From the cover, I had dismissed it as not being up my alley. Looking at the inside gatefold, they looked like some good old classic rockers (except for the one who looks like a serial killer). So, threw it on, and loved it. I've listened to it just about every day this week since Tuesday.Ludicrous gibs! -
Sad, nobody else enjoys this music. I might just have to bring it to PF and force it on everyone.Ludicrous gibs!
