I've almost bought this several times, but I was wondering if the sonic improvements were worth the money. It's one of my all time favorites. Does anybody own this? Thanks!

    Which one,the 1999 or the 2007 version?

The album was remastered and remixed in 1999 with bonus these tracks recorded for KMET radio on 29 May 1974 at The Record Plant in Los Angeles, California:

    1."Day of the Eagle (Live)"
    2."Bridge of Sighs (Live)"
    3."Too Rolling Stoned (Live)"
    4."Lady Love (Live)"
    5."Little Bit of Sympathy (Live)"

The album was remastered and released in 2007 with these eight bonus tracks from BBC Radio 1's "John Peel Sessions":

    1."Bridge of Sighs (recorded 5/3/74)"
    2."In This Place (recorded 5/3/74)"
    3."Alethea (recorded 5/3/74)"
4."Little Bit of Sympathy (recorded 5/3/74)"
    5."Fine Day (recorded 28/1/75)"
    6."Confessin’ Midnight (recorded 28/1/75)"
    7."Its Only Money (recorded 28/1/75)"
8."Gonna Be More Suspicious (recorded 28/1/75)"

The sonics are hardly perceptible between either version except for the bonus tracks.Personally,I prefer the the 1999 version but that's just me.
If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.
