I had a program called Audiostreamer that would record many streamed Inet radio stations...including Live365, which I listen to a lot.

Now, Live365 seem not allow the recording of their streams or changed IP addresses and many preset stations will not play...maybe deceased...

Anways, recommendations for software that can record any stream the PC is playing?.....and also can be used to record LP's I promised my mom I would transfer to CDs?

Audacity the best? thanks..... mike

I found a program called Freerecorder that attaches as a toolbar and so far allows me to record all streaming audio...I think it does some for audio tracks on video.

I plan to use Audacity to help me edit the streams....and also to record all of my mom's Perry Como's albums.

I emailed Live365 about recording their streams and was told it was illegal...which it should not be if it is for personal use.
