All you Mac people... I got my wife a MacBook Pro a few months ago and hate to admit...but I love it. ... i don't know how to tinker with it yet... but I love it.

Anyway... I could swear that I saw a commercial somewhere or something showing somebody on a Mac laptop on their couch and it showed a plasma TV with the computer desktop on it... like they were connected to the tv wirelessly. Is there a way to do this? My TV is on my network, but I can't find it anywhere on my MAC. I can play songs through my TV using dlna from my media PC just fine and access the internet with the TV, so I know it is networked. Thoughts?

I don't have the current MacBook Pro release, but I have the one prior. I'm not sure how you'd do this safely, although Belkin did bring a product like this to CES some years ago.

According to their website the $1,499 price tag made them halt production. Not sure if there's something else out there or not...I'd just buy a cable long enough. Much cheaper than any other solution I would think.

I must be crazy. I thought I saw something where the MAC would wirelessly work with a display when the TV is a newer, networked TV. I don't really need to hook it up that way. I'm typing right now on my 58" connected to my media PC, but I thought there was some fancy way that the MAc could also display on it through the network.
