Polk Monitor 12's

The speakers work very well and have no known issues. The drivers are all in very good shape. The grills both have quite a few snags for some reason (we have acts), but it is not from them. In my video room, they are not visible from seating area, but would be in a living room or other bright area.

The right rear corner of one speaker has a small dent (see photo). The dent is only visible when looking on top of speaker. Otherwise cabinets are in very good shape. They also have "legs" to give them a slight tilt (see photo).

These are heavy. I am in the Kansas City area and travel to and from Minnesota pretty regularly. Shipping is a bad option.

I think I have 8 sets of Polk Monitors and we are moving into a house half the size of what we have.

I would like a firm $300.00.

    Confucious??

I just want to make sure you don't think I left something out of my original posting. As a last resort, I would ship, but it would very expensive. I think they weigh 60 lbs each.

I wish these were closer to me. And I had money to buy them.

    Good luck with the sale.

    Trades would also be welcome....for example, a pair of 10Bs or 5s....maybe LSi9s and I pay you a couple hundred....maybes LSi7s and I pay you something....quality power suppply/bar/surge protector/....stands for my LSi9s.....a NAD tuner......

or MAYBE a lead on a hot girlfriend (but don't tell my wife)....

the speakers do look good though you can see the snags when close up...I did not check to see if Polk has grills for them....I don't need them as I can't see the snags unless I am within a feet of the speakers...I know people have different opinions, but I am running them as Fronts in HT system now with 10Bs for rears and CSi5 for center and I really like the sound..especially for the money.

Great pair of non SDA speakers. I have a set that is beat up, trying to get a friend to get these, but the distance is a ****. C'est la vie.

The thing is I had the boxes for them and extra boxes for two layers.....and gave them to my daughter who just moved to Colorado. But I do have the styrofoam sheets I use for packing.

I'll keep trying local sale (not on Craigslist yet) and if that does not work, consider shipping....my 20 yr old son can do the lifting.

If serious, let me know what shipping two 65 lb boxes about 15 by 20 by 40 inches costs.

I'm in 66217 zip and prefer FEDEX...but UPS is ok too.

I would also have to buy two boxes a piece.....anyone got some old refrigerator boxes!? If I think it can be done without damage to the speakers....then we can talk....

I am going to put these up on Craigslist tomorrow (if I can remember how).
