Don't lay down for too long :p .

I know how it feels. I was laid off and couldn't find a job for almost a year. I took a job that paid quite a bit less than the previous job did but after sticking with it for a year, I got bumped up to area supervisor and am making close to what I use to. At least I can now afford to purchase new gear(gf isn't happy about that) ;) .

Congrats. You have 2 weeks to set the alarm and practice getting up and ready if that's nessesary to do.

I don't know how I left at 6am every morn for 15 years. Alot of morn. it was 2am or 4am to hit the road to be at work in some other city at 7am. Then getting home or to a motel room at 9pm and then repeating something along the same lines the next morn.

It's now been about 2 years and now I get up with my wife at 7am most morn. and I'm draging but.

I would definitly need a week or two myself to practice the regiment of getting up and staying up and working.

Congrats again on getting a new job.;)

I am going to be working for TIAA Cref, doing PC Desktop support in their call center. They have a BEAUTIFUL Campus, tons of trees, and walkways, ponds everywhere (man made)

The hours are 8-5 and the campus is only 15 miles away, so I m thinking alarm at 6:30 am, out the door by 7:15 or so. We get a lot of traffic on I-77 south heading towards Charlotte.

Bonus. I just pulled two medium rare Bubba Burgers off the grill. Can't do any drinkin' while I'm laying low this week. Blew out two discs in my back and the doc said it won't mix well with Percoset. I'll do an A/B double back-flip with a twist blind test against a placebo to see if he's right!
    Had an MRI this morning.
    Fingers crossed!

Dude, I hope you are OK and not too badly wrenched.

I did a disc up, back in February and can't get it fixed till after I'm off unemployment. Really terrible situation.

BTW the doctor is wrong, those perks DO mix well, it's a game called pass out.
    Just kidding. :D

Damn, Russ. I thought you were just being a little girl about the back thing. Don't worry, the whole Duke computer system is down and nobody has any orders....at least on our side of things. Be prepared to fix 10,000 lights when your back gets better, ya' old hag.

Before you even start? Shutup Russ.

Congrat's Mike. New jobs are cool.

Ouch! I knew it was only a matter of time before the new and improved system pooped the bed!:D
