Why would you move the problematic thread in a different thread with a question that is easy to retrace to the problematic thread?

Everyone is allowed to their opinion in more than just America but NA as a whole and many other countries but that doesn't mean your, mine or anybody else's opinion can be imposed on anyone elses, right? Get back to talking audio and specially the new Polk products, it's much healthier to do such around here ;)

What an idiot............that asks an idiotic question. Another one for the IL.

BTW, I hate my freedom, it sucks, it causes too much trouble making my own decisions. Please take away my freedom.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I've checked the official Rule Book and in response to posts like this, everyone has free reign to post cat pictures. If they so choose.

I choose to do so .....

I hate Freedom, it encourages free thinking..................and that's never a good thing. Opression has worked for so many outside the "Free" World; it's time to adopt that ideology..

I asked because Snow over there thinks it is more American to "buy american" than it is to have the choice to buy whatever you wish.

It's a simple question that 90% of americans should answer "yes" to. But when I told snow that people appreciate their freedom in america more than they appreciate being told to "buy american" (because that is snows solution to the poor economy) he thought I was crazy.

If it needs to be closed, then someone should close it...

This is not the place for this type of non-sense

why don't you ask a a question with more clarity...

Would you pay more for american manufactured goods... vs. cheap and just good enough manufactured goods from countries that pay slave wages???....

    Americans vote with their pocketbooks.

I buy organic food from the grocery store even though it costs 10% - 15% more. My thought being that if enough people make the same choice the demand will go up and will drive down the costs.

But I do drive a POS toyota because my perception is that it's more reliable, will last longer and have a greater resale value should i decide to not drive it till it drops.

p.s. -- I agree that the we have lost our american made industrial production capacity -- unless your in the market for an advance technical fighter jet or a nuclear class submarine.

The problem is, as I saw it, snow thought that everyone should be made to buy american... and lose their freedom of choice... and I told him that was unamerican (and he thought I was a fool for saying it)

Sure, some will choose to buy american whether or not its lesser quality, but you like to have that choice. Would you like to be told that you have to buy organic fruit? or that you have to buy that toyota?

before global markets and NAFTA. All countries economies were protected with import tariffs. What a concept.

Lets put trade barriers back up.

Then the choice is to buy consumer goods of whatever quality cheaper that were produced in the US. -- or pay 15% more for goods produced outside of our borders.

    That works for me.

2nd person ever to be added to the bozo list for me, and that takes a lot.
