Officer Training Programs

Has anyone recently or in the past done any of the Officer Training Programs for either the Army or the Marines?
I've been looking at doing possibly something different with my career and have always wondered about these programs but wanted to talk to other people besides the recruiters for them (Marines recruiter is over 2 hours away, Army is local but they don't have any officers around last time I was in). If any of you have done this would you be willing to shoot me a PM and discuss some more stuff in detail that would be great and very helpful to me.
To give background I've worked now 3 years in the banking world, have a BS in Political Science-Pre Law and a BS in Public Administration/Policy Analysis. I've also looked into doing other private sector jobs such as the CIA programs they have and still have those for consideration, just looking at other choices out there.
Just to add I know a guy that I graduated college with that did the Army program and he's still loving it and thinks its great. However he has NO idea what he wants to do after he gets done or whats out there and is just winging it. I know I would like to get my MBA down the road as well.
