RTA12 - what to expect?

I came across a pair of these on CL for what looks to be a good price. How well will they match with the CS400i and RT5's? I will be using a Yamaha RX-V1200 to power them. Will they need stands to sound their best? Thanks.

    Stands not needed. Unless it is that eeeaaaarrllyyy pair that was on stands. Very rare.
