...sorry...meant 7 more days on the speakers.

that's quite a lot for nearly 7 days left. Makes me wonder what they will end at.

What brand of Speaker are they? I demo'ed a set of Martin Logans once that were setup with a Macintosh something or another. Very Big bucks. But they sounded dry to my ears. They were impressive, I will give them that. But I appreciate my Polks more.

Very early JBL (James B. Lansing)
These are nice sounding speakers, but the lenses break up the imaging too much for my liking. To be fair, they were designed as a mono speaker. Very nice though. -
Thanks for the update. I have a set of small bookshelf JBL's 2500's (early 90's) that I picked up at Goodwill for $16.00. Nice sound when hooked to my Marantz receiver. They are currently doing duty in the living room as a impromptu 2 speaker home theater with a early 90's Sony receiver and Pioneer EQ (both Goodwill finds). I'll have to perform the capacitor update to the JBL's, before I tackle my Polks.

....here is the history of the speaker. Interesting!!

Nice read! Definitely, not something to recreate too easily for a DIY project.
