hi guys, please help me out!
i have bought a pair of new TSi500 and a pioneer 1120K receiver. i connected a 14 gauge wire from the top posts of the TSi500 to the left and right posts of the receiver. then i tried the auto calibration tool of the receiver and it detects that the speaker isn't set up correctly! my only source is the ps3 which is connected to the receiver via HDMI and the receiver is then connected to my TV also via HDMI. i can watch the blu-ray but i have no sound. can someone tell me what i have done wrong? is this a defective receiver? bad speakers?
first time with polk audio and pioneer and so far very bad experiences with both.
thanks,
david

Not to sound simple but you are going to correct hdmi in/outs of their respective connections...just go back and redo and check rec. settings/selections to insure all sources are correct/active. Good Luck.
