Right down the beach from me a surfer caught a Great White shark on video, he stated two were circling him. Pretty cool video footage.

They were pretty interested in him. Luckily they didn't decide to bump the board out of curiosity!? ...things could have gone alot different!

    Cool video though :D

He says that we're not on the shark's food chain so he wasn't too worried.... yeah right. If the shark is hungry enough he'll take a bite.

He was on a paddleboard, not a surfboard which makes it a little different, only a little ;). Either way, I'd be scared poopless but at least his legs weren't underwater to bite off

For goodness sakes when Great Whites have been caught and cut open there is all kinds of inedible things in their guts so there is no way someone can tell me that a Great White doesn't have humans on their food chain.

    They eat anything and everything!

Exactly Joe.....I wonder if this dude was eaten, what the headlines would have read..... " Rogue shark attacks boarder for no reason..."

Truth is,anytime you jump on a board,in waters were there are things that can eat you, your taking a risk, these people accept that risk, and should also accept the downside....ala death.

Same here! I thought you were gonna look under the water and see 80s hair flying all about, and then someone was gonna bust out some, "My my my... once bitten, twice shy, baby!" And then a nearby nightclub catches fire and it all goes downhill from there.

The guy was nuts for going BACK OUT knowing sharks were there, but how many thousands of times has the same scenerio played out with the surfer not having a clue what was just below....
